Opening Command Prompt or Powershell

Open up command prompt or powershell using the start menu or run (Start Button + R).

To open command prompt in run, type in "cmd" or "powershell" and then click "OK."

In either powershell or command prompt, type in "ping" with a domain or IP address following and then click enter.

The powershell or command prompt will then send 4 pings to the target domain or IP address to see how fast or if the target replies.
